Considering the fact that it is a collection of short stories, it has done reasonable justice to the title that reads "Different Beads of the Same String" as all the stories connect on a common ground of good intention. Thus, the intention is good but not the possibility of these incidents to be true. For instance, in chapter 3, 'Feelijus', the idea is although well intended but it is fairly impossible for a group of influential people to take time out from their busy schedules to stage such a surreal setting and be effortlessly complied with. Nevertheless, author's atypical ideas for short stories is impressive as his stories are not the usual ones unfolding some basic love affairs. Through the course of every chapter the book reveals brilliant sensitive stories that are worth a movie's plot. Moreover, the plot is cleverly designed which makes it difficult for the readers to figure out what will come next which provides them with a perfect grip. Nevertheless, the book holds some snags too which are as follows. The writer needs to observe people a little more for the conversations sounded overdramatic and unrealistic. The fact that settings are based in India, a character must even be made to sound like an Indian talking. In chapter 4, for instance, the molesters sound superficial and like actors performing on some theatre stage. The characters must also be made to act in a way that allows the readers to believe in their suffering. Even a couple of incidents seem hard to connect to owing to their impracticality. Hence, presenting an unrealistic approach to question reality. Besides this, settings are explained too well at one point of book and have been hastened the other. The occurrence is long gone till the time a reader is able to unriddle what really happened. Apart from all this, the author's courage to cover diverse issues gives an insight of his deep knowledge of different aspects of our society which is indeed commendable.
