Love Means You Needn’t Be Perfect!
She couldn’t remember her past.
He wanted to forget his present.
They could see right through each other.
They wanted to be together.
Yet it took them too long to figure outthat there is nothing perfect about love!
You just need to be together.
If you’ve ever been in love, you will find A Crazy Kind of Love
funny, mad and a completely adorable read.
A third year undergraduate in B.A. English from Madras Christian College, Chennai, Megha Rao spent the first decade of her life in Singapore, only moving to Kerala when she was in her sixth grade. Megha started writing when she was six, beginning with comic books. What started as speech bubbles soon turned into short stories and then novels. Apart from being a writer, she is also a traveller and painter and an avid fan of Josephine Wall. Megha published her first novel Alice: The Netherworld in 2012 and its sequel Alice: The Inferno Conspiracy in 2014. She published her first adult novel, It Will Always Be You in 2015.
Megha, who loves reading Sylvia Plath, Arundhati Roy and soft romances, calls herself an impulsive writer. “There are times when I cannot write a word and then there are times when I do nothing but write for days at a stretch. Once I’m done with the first draft, I give it a month before I get back to reading and working on it. It’s my way of striking a balance,” she says.
This was followed by an interactive session with The Booknerds.
The Google Hangout session was followed by a Yoga talk by Dr. Bhawna Chhabra which enlightened the nerds on how to stay fit mentally and physically by incorporating yoga in our daily routine.
The Sudoku Challenege was won convincingly by Siddharth Sharma and was awarded a book by Co-founder Neha Raj.
The hangout concluded with some candid chit chat over some coffee.
The Booknerds will be meeting again on Sunday, September 17 , 11:30 am at CV Raman Theatre, Indian Institute of Petroleum , Dehradun for a Book Reading and Google Hangout with Author Kanchana Banerjee.
