2. Marlon James in conversation with Patrick French
Jamaican born author Marlon James won the 2015 Man Booker Prize, recipient of the 2015 American Book Award and one of the Top 10 Books of 2014, The New York Times. for his novel, â€˜A Brief History of Seven Killingsâ€™.A Brief History of Seven Killings, tells the story of the attempted assassination of Bob Marley, and the repercussions.Its an epic telling the story of Jamaica in the 1970s and early 80s, where there were gang wars, CIA got involved and the island went through one of its most violently defining moments.
3. Session with Kunal Basu
Kunal Basu is the author of several critically-acclaimed novels including The Opium Clerk, The Miniaturist, Racists and The Yellow Emperorâ€™s Cure. The lead story of his collection of stories,The Japanese Wife, was made into an award-winning Bengali film of the same title in 2010. His latest novel is Kalkatta which depicts the life of a gigolo and takes us on the journey of a migrant trying to make it big in Kolkatta.
4. A Booker Book Shelf - In Conversation with Anjum Hassan
Three authors who made this yearâ€™s Booker cut: Anuradha Roy was longlisted for â€˜Sleeping on Jupiterâ€™, Sunjeev Sahota was shortlisted for â€˜The Year of the Runawaysâ€™ while Marlon James took home the 2015 prize with â€˜A Brief History of Seven Killingsâ€™.Watch them read excerpts from their books and discuss their works.

6. In conversation with Stephen Fry
Stephen Fry is an English comedian, actor, writer, presenter, and activist.He will be discussing his life and work with Vogue India. This one is not to be missed, a true British treasure.
7. Interactive session with Margaret Atwood
Margaret Atwood, is a Canadian poet, novelist, literary critic, essayist, and environmental activist. She has been shortlisted for the Booker Prize five times, winning once.In 2001 she was inducted into Canada's Walk of Fame. She is also a founder of the Writers' Trust of Canada, a non-profit literary organization that seeks to encourage Canada's writing community.Donâ€™t miss this one!!!
8. Kutle Khan Project in concert at Hotel Clarks Amer, Jaipur
It is not all books and authors at the festival .The Kutle Khan Project is a unique collective of Rajasthani folk musicians highlighting Kutle Khan, a multi-talented folk musician who has performed on various stages across the world. Apart from his many performances stunning his audiences in India, he has travelled to 53 countries, gaining popularity and spreading Indian Folk music to all parts of the world.
9. Session with Alexander McCall Smith
Alexander McCall Smith is one of the worldâ€™s most prolific and most popular authors. He has had an offbeat career . For many years he was a professor of Medical Law and worked in universities in the United Kingdom and abroad. Then, after the publication of his highly successful No 1 Ladiesâ€™ Detective Agency series, which has sold over twenty million copies, he devoted his time to the writing of fiction and has seen his various series of books translated into over forty languages and become bestsellers through the world.
10. Jaipur BookMark (JBM) - 2016
JBM is held parallel to ZEE JLF and provides a platform for publishers, literary agents, authors, translation agencies and writers to meet, talk business deals, listen to speakers from across the world and perhaps even sign the occasional contract.It is where you can find a plethora of Indian literature and crack that deal you have been longing for.
Jaipur BookMark 2016 will be held on the 21st and 22nd of January at the NarainNiwas, a beautiful location, just ten minutes away from the main festival venue.
